What is an Asbestos Management Plan?

When you have a positive asbestos survey in your property, the duty holder must begin an effective management plan to comply with the law. Within the plan, the duty holder must ensure that all safety measurements are followed, all details of locations and conditions of any materials with asbestos are noted and that everything is appropriately labelled. This plan must then be reviewed at a minimum every 12 months to follow ‘The Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012)’.
